On 18th May, the British Basketball Fans Association (BBFA) issued an Open Letter to the British Basketball Federation (BBF), Super League Basketball (SLB), and GBB League Ltd (GBBL). This letter, shaped directly by fan feedback via our national survey, called for public answers to questions about the future of British basketball.
We are pleased to share that all three organisations — BBF, SLB, and GBBL — have responded.
In the interest of full transparency and accessibility, we are publishing their unedited responses below, exactly as received. We believe this is an important step in holding all stakeholders accountable and ensuring fans are part of the conversation.
There’s a lot of information here. Over the coming days, the BBFA will share more detailed analyses of each organisation's response, including how well they address the concerns raised, what remains unanswered, and what this means for the sport's future.
For now, we invite you to read their responses in full.

First class work! Genuinely didn't expect you to get responses from all parties before the deadline. It actually gives me hope that there may be a way forward.
Excellent work Matt & a great result in getting responses from all 3 organisations. They're long reads which is probably good & I'm looking forward to what happens next.
